A self-proclaimed nerd, Sarah enjoys playing superheros and all things Star Wars with her six year old. She also enjoys reading science fiction and YA literature, cooking and eating all kinds of food (the stranger the better), and long road trips. She also sings in the Emory Community Choir. Ministry Fellow - Georgia State
Drew Wilmesherr is a Top 40 Mashup of West Virginia and Mississippi. He was designed and made in Atlanta, Georgia. He's made of collard greens, guitar strings, and stories about Jesus. He went to Middle-Tennessee State University (Go Blue Raiders!), where he studied English and Recording Industry Management. In between classes and projects, he attended the Presbyterian Student Fellowship at MTSU, making lifelong friends, leading worship (the guitars and synthesizers kind), and discovered a passion for ministry and the person of Jesus. He recently graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary with a Master's in Divinity.
Currently he is obsessed with 80's pop bands and their haircuts, poetry about food, and Raging Burritos burritos. He will always have at least three ideas for hanging out, and two of those ideas will always either be coffee or pizza. And if you get him started on what the future might look and feel like, you have to let the jukebox play the whole song out (he won't stop talking about it.)
Mary Kate McAlister
Seminary Intern- Agnes Scott & Emory
Mary Kate is currently a second year student at Columbia Theological Seminary where she’s working towards her Masters of Divinity and Masters of Practical Theology, with a concentration in Pastoral Care.
Originally from Charlotte, NC, Mary Kate attended Sewanee: The University of the South for undergrad majoring in Psychology with a minor in Education and Religion. After graduating she began teaching at a K-8 Episcopal School.
When not in class, you can likely find Mary Kate doing something outside! Running, walking with a friend, or adventuring to a new spot in town. She’s obsessed with her nephew, who is about to be 7 months old — he lives in Chattanooga. Mary Kate loves sharing meals with people and hearing about their families, reading, cooking, playing Banangrams, and writing letters and making stationary. She’s passionate about working with young people, building strong community, traveling, and connecting faith to every day lives.
